Charlotte Turnbull is a Partner at Hine Legal, having previously worked as a partner at a boutique business law firm based in the City of London. Prior to that, Charlotte worked for a variety of firms including a City practice, a regional heavyweight, a boutique practice in Lincoln’s Inn and one of Australia’s “Big Six” law firms in Sydney.
Charlotte was also the Managing Director of an HR Consultancy & Advisory company, which provided an outsourced HR consulting and advisory facility to SMEs.
Charlotte has significant experience in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious matters for both employers and employees on topics such as business restructuring, breach of contract, contracts of employment, court proceedings, disciplinary and grievance issues, discrimination and equal pay, employment tribunals, family and pregnancy-related issues, flexible working, restrictive covenants, restraint of trade, confidentiality and intellectual property, TUPE and unfair dismissal.
Charlotte works with clients in a variety of industries with a particular emphasis on the banking, financial services, and technology sectors. She also works with a range of other businesses, including entrepreneurs and fast-growing owner-managed businesses. Charlotte has a particular interest in family friendly and flexible working practices and working with professional women.
Outside Of Work
Charlotte lives in Essex with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, Charlotte enjoys travelling, the theatre and reading and enjoys keeping fit. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends and family.
